Role Overview
We are looking for a Manager of Marketing to lead and scale our global marketing strategy across the full customer journey — from acquisition to retention. This role will be responsible for building a high-performing growth engine that combines performance marketing, brand positioning, community-driven growth, lifecycle strategies, and data-driven decision making.
You will lead a senior marketing team and work closely with Product, Sales, and Operations to drive sustainable revenue growth while strengthening our brand and community ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy, driving customer acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth.
Oversee paid media, SEO, and organic growth channels, ensuring strong CAC efficiency and marketing ROI.
Optimize the end-to-end user journey, improving conversion rates through data-driven insights and experimentation.
Design and implement community-led growth programs, including referral systems, advocacy initiatives, and engagement programs for Travelers and Hosts.
Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team across Performance, SEO Content, and Analytics.
Build strong alignment between Marketing, Product, Sales, and Operations to ensure effective demand generation and monetization.
Drive CRM and lifecycle strategies, including segmentation, onboarding, retention, re-engagement, and loyalty programs.
Strengthen brand positioning and product marketing, supporting go-to-market strategies for new initiatives and features.
Implement data governance and performance dashboards to provide clear visibility across the full marketing funnel.
Lead the adoption of AI and marketing innovation, improving automation, creative systems, and growth experimentation.
Essential Skills / Knowledge & Experience
8–12+ years of experience in Growth or Marketing leadership roles with ownership of full-funnel strategies.
Proven track record of improving LTV/CAC, contribution margin, and scalable revenue growth.
Experience leading and scaling senior marketing teams (15–20+ people) across Performance Marketing, SEO, CRM/Lifecycle, and Analytics.
Strong ability to connect marketing strategy with product, sales, and operational goals.
Deep understanding of performance marketing, growth strategy, and lifecycle marketing.
Strong analytical and financial mindset, with experience managing forecasts, unit economics, and performance dashboards.
Experience structuring marketing operations and prioritization frameworks in fast-growing environments.
Strategic understanding of brand positioning and product marketing, especially in marketplace or multi-product businesses.
Ability to operate with high autonomy, systems thinking, and strong decision-making in complex and high-growth environments.
